A Stroll at the Market
a little spontaneous activity before the "feriado" on Wednesday. I really find Barra da Tijuca a fascinating place, because you can find a lot of things that actually do not make any sense. For example this pretty cool market hall inside a huge, mainly deserted, shopping area. The market hall offers a couple of nice restaurants, lots of stalls that offer hot dogs, sandwiches, sushi, ceviche etc... And of course, for our purposes, also a couple of beer places, among them Tio Ruy, which already earned a very good reputation for their service and high-quality beer in the whole of Rio. The non-beer drinkers will have a treat as well, as there are also places offering a wide array of wine and the Drinkeria Sauer with their cocktails which will be offered in Happy-Hour-Style on Tuesdays.
Unfortunately, the Uptown Shopping Area is not connected to the BRT line. So if anyone wants to share an Uber, for example from Barra Shopping, send me a message.
And if anyone still needs a drink after the market closes, I would be so flexible to move the event on to Botto Bar in the Vogue Shopping Centre or to the newly-opened Capapreta Taphouse (very good beer!) nearby.
