Who Would You Be Without Your Limiting Beliefs? - Workshop
Dear the Hague Professionals,
You are invited to join our next workshop where we will use the Work of Byron Katie® to identify and question limiting beliefs that may cause us to feel stuck and to transform our experience. The session will be led by Sagar Simon, certified facilitator of “The Work”.
The two hour workshop will be followed by socializing and networking among the participants.
Who would you be without your limiting beliefs?
Understanding, using and experiencing the Work of Byron Katie
Limiting beliefs. We all have them: “You have to work hard for money.” “I hate rich people.” “Who will ever love me?” “Love hurts.” “Everybody’s cheating.” “You can’t trust people.”
Limiting beliefs are those which constrain us in some way.
Just by believing them, we do not think, do or say the things that they inhibit. And in doing so we impoverish our lives.
We may have beliefs about rights, duties, abilities, permissions and so on. Limiting beliefs are often about our selves and our self-identity. The beliefs may also be about other people and the world in general. In any case, they sadly limit us.
Who would you be if you didn't have these limiting and often negative thoughts?
Using the Work Of Byron Katie®, we will experience, the simple and power tool to free ourselves from the burden of these thoughts and beliefs.
The Work's whole point is: The usual ways we think about things don’t work very well, so let’s find a new way to think — a way that leads us to the truth of our lives.
Using the The Work:
Is, a simple yet powerful process of inquiry, that consists of four questions and turnarounds. Doing the work has the possibility to transform your life into peace, clarity of action, and to live and work more intelligently and effectively, with integrity and stress-free.
To get the most out of this this process you only need to come with an open mind. Doing the work is more like Meditation. It is a turning inward for your answers.
“I discovered that when I believed my thoughts, I suffered, but that when I didn't believe them, I didn't suffer, and that this is true for every human being. Freedom is as simple as that. I found that suffering is optional. I found a joy within me that has never disappeared, not for a single moment. That joy is in everyone, always.”
This Workshop will be facilitated by Sagar Simon:
