Emotional Eating: why our mood affects what we eat
Nowadays some of us see food purely as a source of nutrition for our bodies. But there many of us who see food as pleasure, reward and associate it with a whole range of human emotions and conditions.
Does this resonate with you?
Are you aware of the reasons you turn to food: comfort, relief, distraction?
How related is your pattern of eating to your emotional state?
In this short introductory workshop you are going to learn about your individual eating pattern and whether you turn to food in order to regulate certain emotional states.
Additionally, you will learn more about the connection between food and emotional regulation and how to gain awareness and adopt practical strategies that could help you regulate your emotions effectively and change your eating behavior.
We have invited a psychologist with experience in counseling on emotional eating and changing to healthier eating patterns.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
