The Protected content has the honor of presenting the works [tsumami-e] by the artist Yayoi Takahashi 髙 橋 彌 生.

What is tsumami-e?
Tsumami-e are created from small pieces of silk, used to create three-dimensional images.
This technique was born in the imperial palace in the era <manyou> 万 葉 の 時代 Protected content ago. The technique was used to create decorations for <kanzashi> hair and to ornament small boxes. In the Meiji, Taishô and Shôwa eras, it became more of an artistic form.
Yayoi Takahashi still considers himself learning, but wants to introduce this delicate and refined art to Paris.
The exhibition will also be hosted by Mami Takahashi, 橋 真 美, a specialist in the art of scent, who creates a special fragrance to accompany the works.
