Dear friends,

I hope you are all well and you enter smoothly into Protected content ! And as we say in Japan "Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu " !! (Happy New Year ).

I invite you to go together to the Kimono exhibition at Quai Branly Museum.

The show traces the history of this traditional Japanese garment, from its appearance over 1,000 years ago to the present day, through its golden age in the Edo period ( Protected content ) where it became a principal item of dress. Exported to the West from Protected content , this garment has inspired many fashion designers including John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. The exhibition has been designed by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London which revisits its history, that of an iconic garment, intimately linked to Japan. The kimono from every angle, or the portrait of a resolutely modern garment, across the centuries and continents.

For those willing to chat, we can eat at Protected content
