This evening's poetry event will feature Joanna Brown, mother of Alexander Paul and co-author of “Climbing Clouds Catching Comets “.
Joanna will be talking about his life and legacy with young readers who will showcase some of Alexander’s poems.
Climbing Clouds Catching Comets has been described by Afua Hirsch as "clambering inside the mind of a writer whose talent fizzes on the page: with love, pain, empathy and wisdom far beyond his young years"
The reading will focus on some of Alexander's writings on social issues including themes of family, love, identity, homelessness, loneliness and isolation and will pay tribute to both Alexander and his book.
