Book club - Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind
I have been planning to read "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" (by Yuval Noah) for a while now, so I thought it would be great to have an extra motivation: people to discuss it with and a deadline. If the meeting goes well, we can decide to meet again (at the same place or somewhere else in Central London). As usual, it is nice if we buy at least a drink or some food at the place.
For those that have not yet been this pub, it is one of the oldest pubs in London and was frequented by Dickens (the pub is referred to in ‘Little Dorrit’)! It can be a bit crowded, but I will make sure I get a good table reserved for us.
"From a renowned historian comes a groundbreaking narrative of humanity’s creation and evolution—a #1 international bestseller—that explores the ways in which biology and history have defined us and enhanced our understanding of what it means to be “human.”
