What is yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The consciousness functions at a deeper level of awareness in Yoga Nidra which results in deep relaxation with inner awareness.
Yoga Nidra meditation guides practitioners into a state of relaxation between the alpha and theta states. This allows us to lay in deep relaxation between waking and sleeping.
Some benefits of this practice:
– Improves thought pattern and reduces stress – Enhances cognitive performance and memory – Improves physical health and sleep – Balances the nervous system & improves mindfulness
