Krakow Living Stained Glass Museum

CHANGE OF DATE to this Saturday
Krakow has a “living museum” of stained glass located across the street from the Kijów Cinema near the Muzeum Narodowe. And we have an opportunity to do something not in the evening, that will get us out into a January day before it gets dark, lol.
Located in the premises of the historical stained-glass studio known as S. G. Żeleński, it offers a unique opportunity to get to know a functioning stained-glass workshop. Here you can watch the masters at work and learn about the process of creating monumental glass works.
The permanent exhibition, restored and modernised in Protected content , presents works designed by four outstanding artists of the Young Poland period: Stanisław Wyspiański, Józef Mehoffer, Stefan Matejko (nephew of Jan Matejko) and Wojciech Jastrzębowski.
In addition, all floors of the studio house magnificent designs and examples of completed works from over a century of history.
Guided tour in English is at 3 pm, cost is 50 zl.
