Beginners Event - Taking Control of Exposure
Calling all beginners and budding photographers, after the popularity I'm going to re-run this beginners event! Maybe you got some shiny new camera or gear for Christmas but you don't really know how to use it. Maybe you have a New Years Resolution to finally start pursuing that photography passion of yours. Or maybe you'd like to move away from using the fully automatic modes in your camera.
Well then, this event might just be for you!
This is the first of a series I hope to run throughout the year, starting with Exposure and then moving onto more technical and artistic challenges.
We are starting with Exposure as a properly exposed photograph is the basic starting point for most of us. But what is exposure, what are these things Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO that people talk about? Well this event is to explain all that and set some simple exercises we will work through to help you get comfortable with getting a correct exposure using semi automatic and manual modes and then how to get creative with exposure.
I've limited the space so that the group is small and everyone can get time to ask questions. So if you accept the invite, please do turn up, otherwise you are denying a spot to someone else who wanted to come along.
Last but not least, please bring your cameras with you! The point of the event is to learn and practice! But please try to familiarize yourself with the ISO, shutter speed and aperture controls beforehand.
Sorry, but you are not allowed to join this Activity Group!
We are afraid that you cannot join, because the Consuls have limited access to this Activity Group.
