Sunday Morning Hike in the Sierras - POSTPONED

Welcome to our Sunday walk in the Sierras

We will be meeting at 10.20 outside Wortens at la Canada so we can sort out cars and leave at 10.30 sharp.

We will be then driving to the mirador where we will begin our walk.

This is a shortish walk 5k, which feels longer as it climbs upwards to the hermitage of the monks. There is one bit with a chain across the rock which we will need to edge across. Don't worry if you do not want to do it, we will split the group and one half will go back and the other continue round.

This walk will be on uneven ground, with stones so you will not be allowed to take part if you are wearing trainers (this is advice by the Federation of mountaineering. So make sure you wear correct walking shoes/boots.

We will have a break to eat - so do bring nourishments with you

Also make sure you have insurance.
