Sunday Morning Hike in the Sierras - Nagueles

Hi Everyone

Excuse the confusion - we are doing the Nagueles walk as the river at Monda will still be overflowing

So this hike is a very pretty circular route above Nagueles, through forest following a river bed up to an abandoned Hermitage; returning on open slopes with views up towards La Concha ridge and over to Marbella.

2.5-3 hours, 5.5km, with 280m of climb; there is an exposed section with chain handrail and loose gravel on paths

There are a few crossings of the stream. As the first part of the walk is up a valley with plenty of trees it should give us some protection if the weather turns.

Meet at MediaMarkt 10.20 for a 10.30 departure to the start point which is a 10 minute drive to parking just above

PLEASE NOTE: NO ONE WEARING INAPPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR WILL BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE HIKE

Appropriate footwear is hiking boots or shoes with a proper deep tread. Trainers with flat soles have caused accidents on our hikes and therefore are no longer permitted
