Let's visit the wine stands in the Eastern Rheingau - yes, the area east of Wiesbaden is part of Rheingau too! We will visit the wine villages of Flörsheim, Wicker, Hochheim and Kostheim and taste the local wines at the wine stands (Weinprobierstand) there.

Some of the wine stands sell food, but it will be mostly pretzels, cheese and sausages. Bring some snacks along to soak up the wine ;-). Toward the end of the hike we will see if we want to stop at a restaurant or just go home.

We will end our hike in Mainz-Kastel.
