The Brain that Changes Itself
We think of changes in our braun as changes in our personality, as we grow up and age, or as changes due to illness or injury. But how about the ability of our brain to change itself, to recover from an illness, or to master different ways of thinking/ Normal Doidge, a psychiatrist and psychoanalist, offers a series of fascinating examples of the plasticity of our brain - and that opens a window to reflect on the changes that OUR brains have gone through.
