Border: A Journey to the Edge of Europe

Most countries in Western Europe have well defined physical borders: Spain and Italy are peninsulas, Franch is a hexagone, Great Britain is an island. Moving East things change, physical borders are less pronounced, and this influences cultures and peoples. And the edge of Europe, as defined in he title of the book by Kapka Kassapova, has been important for European history: that's where ancient Greeks came from, for example.
