Wine Tasting Course
Do you want to learn about wines and how to taste them? This course aims to provide us basic knowledge about wine to an average user: the production process, Spanish production areas, different varieties, the different stages of tasting (visual, olfactory and gustatory). Thus learning to identify smells and flavors and connect them with our memory of smells and our register of flavors.
At this sensory journey we will sharpen our perceptions. This course will have a part of history and also tasting with two parts: the olfactory part and the flavors. We will focus on the nuances and secrets of Spanish wines but we will also go around the globe with our senses.
-Introduction to Spanish viticulture and Denominaciones de Origen
-Preparation of white wines.
-Visual and gestural phase of the taster.
-Preparation of red wines
-Wine aging and aging phase
-Aromas that correspond to the aging
-Wine tasting and pairing
The course will be led by Laetitia Belasco, sommelier with extensive experience both nationally and internationally. Passionate about enology, she defines herself as a "wine story teller", a troubadour. In her works she always tries to transmit that passion.
The course will be held in spanish and at an academy following the restrictions and separation roules.
