Amoos specializes in authentic Persian food. Their executive chef hand selects all of their meats to ensure the best and tastiest entrees are served. From fresh wild-caught fish kabobs to free-range beef, lamb and chicken skewers. In addition to great kabob options, Amoos’ specials menu has included whole braised pomegranate duck and chicken stews, saffron orange grilled sea scallops kabobs, lamb chop kabobs, jalapeño basil lime-marinated lamb tenderloin filet kabob, and orange peel and roasted pistachio stuffed American quail just to name a few.
Amoos was established in Protected content . It’s family-owned and operated with recipes that come straight from Tehran. Masoud and Sebastian Oveysi have decades of experience in Persian and Mediterranean culinary arts. Recently, this father and son team were rated some of the top chefs in the DC Metro area. Their mission for over 20 years has been to bring the tastiest Persian dishes to the area.

There is ample free parking at the restaurant.

Amoos is a short Uber/Lyft ride from the McLean metro station - Silver line.
