Ever wondered what the Royal Palace looks like inside? Is it a magical fairy tale wonderland or steeped in Norwegian Viking tradition? In summer, the Royal Palace opens its doors to the public, and you can join a guided tour to uncover the mysteries of this majestic building in the heart of the city.

Visitors receive a guided tour in English through the Palace's most beautiful state rooms: the Council Wardrobe, the Minister's Salon, the Council Chamber, the White Parlour, King Haakon VII's suite, the Upper Vestibule, the Bird Room, the Mirror Hall, the Daily Dining Room, the Small Banquet Hall, the Large Banquet Hall, and the Grand Dining Room.

Meeting Time: 15:45
Meeting Point: Entrance outside the Palace Courtyard on the west side (back side, facing Parkveien).
Duration: 1 hour

Arrive on time! Latecomers won’t be allowed to join once the tour starts.

All visitors must pass through a security check.

Bags, outerwear, umbrellas, cameras, and similar items are not allowed
inside. Lockers are available for storage.

Photography is not permitted inside the Palace.
Out of courtesy to the guides and other visitors, please turn off your mobile phones during the tour.
