OPENING NIGHT CONCERT CHANGE OF VENUE!
Due to the weather forecast of thunderstorms and heavy rain Wednesday evening, our Opening Night Concert will be moved indoors to beautiful Jordan Hall at New England Conservatory,
30 Gainsborough St. in Boston. This venue is known for its incredible acoustics, and is air conditioned. The concert will still take place tomorrow, Wednesday, July 17 at 7:00 PM. Please be aware that seating is limited and is first come first serve. Doors will open at 6:00 PM.
Let's s enjoy the Landmarks Orchestra concert now taking place at the NEC Jordan. This event is a free and open to the public. The concert starts at 7 pm, however I recommend that you come a early so we can socialize a little before the music starts. The doors open at 6 pm. I plan to be there at 6 pm and will try get us some good seats.
This concert will celebrate in music and live video of the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing with the Museum of Science and the Boston Landmarks Orchestra. For one night only, this family-friendly evening honors the historic event by pairing custom visuals produced by the Hayden Planetarium with symphonic music inspired by the moon and outer space.
