Mid-Autumn Carnival for Under-resourced Community
Mid-Autumn Festival falls on 4th October this year (the 15th day of the eighth lunar month). In the past, families would get together to make offerings of osmanthus-flavoured wine, spherical fruits such as pears, grapes, pomegranates and of course moon cakes to the heavens, to express gratitude for a bumper harvest as well as enjoy a reunion with relatives who live far away. To many, this is considered to be one of the most important festivals of the year.
Urban Peacemaker Evangelistic Fellowship taking this opportunity to organize a carnival to celebrate this important festive with the under-resourced community in Tuen Mun. You are invited to be part of it and sharing the festival joy with the needed ones!
We look forward to having you with us in this special occasion!
