Day Hike at Huddart Park
Dear friends,
I am inviting you to a spectacular hiking journey and picnic hangout at Huddart Park located in Woodside area.
We will be meeting at 10 am at the
Zwierlein Parking Lot, Crystal Springs Trailhead and will head to the 7.4 mile moderately trafficked Crystal Springs, Summit, Chinquapin and Dean loop trails that would offer the chance to see flowers and is rated as moderate. The highest elevation of the trail will be about 1,414 ft. There is a nice grade, great trail markings, and smooth trail with minimal obstructions. There are plenty of birds and Redwood trees to enjoy.
There are picnic area for lunch at the Redwood Picnic Area, Huddart Park and has lots of benches and a rest area with restrooms right at the site. Please bring plenty of food and water for the hangout.
After the hike, we will be heading for an outdoor aperitif, food and snacks at the Village Bakery located nearby in Woodside area at Redwood City. Here is the link of the bistro:
