Dear folks,

I am inviting you all to enjoy a spectacular morning hike at Calero County Park, one of Santa Clara County's most diverse regional park and recreation areas.

We will meet at 10 am at the McKean Entrance Picnic Area - Oak Grove parking lot. Then we will begin heading to Los Cerritos and Serpentine Loop Trail with an elevation gain of 1,167 ft. The total trip of the hike is a 8.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Morgan Hill, California that features a lake and is rated as moderate.
Please bring plenty of food and water for the hangout.

Two distinct areas define this park: the reservoir, which offers a host of water-oriented recreational activities, and the adjoining "back country" which reveals to the visitor California Oak woodland, chaparral, riparian plant communities and associated wildlife habitats. During the months of March the "back country" offers a spectacular display of wildflowers.

After the hike we will having an aperitif drink at an outdoor Mojito JF Bar and Grill.
The bar offers lots of appetizers on the menu and lots of mixed drinks including many variations of the Mojito drinks such as the spicy Mojito, the watermelon version, and the pomegranate.
