Meadows; a stark contrast to the concrete jungle - sounds intriguing doesn't it?

Join us when we explore the vastland of rural Bangalore on the very edge of Whitefield. Established in the late Protected content as a settlement for the Eurasians and Anglo Indians of Bangalore, it is still today one of the few places referred to as an expat stronghold and it has been long standing that InterNations paid the area a visit and some respect. This event doubles as a farewell to one of our consuls and long standing member of InterNations in Bangalore.

We invite for the Indian brunch which includes a food buffet and an open bar served from 12.30 to 3.30 (Who knows why it is called "brunch"?)

Depending on you preferences and age - you can choose between the following options:

Unlimited food & soft drinks for kids cost Protected content
Unlimited food & soft drinks/mocktails for adults cost Protected content
Unlimited food & beers (only) for adults only cost Protected content
Unlimited food & "indian manufactured foreign liqueur" and Indian wine for adults only cost Protected content

You will buy and pay at the restaurant

The prices includes use of swimming pool and happy hour at the next door Oak Tavern until 7pm, so we encourage people to come early and stay late, basically make a day out of it and enjoy the serenity.

Disclaimer. Please notice that the marketed prices are NOT the price the restaurant will bill you!! You might be charged for service (regardless of service level) and you will be charged service tax (GST) which depends on the restaurants turn-over and whatever or not they have air conditioning. Sitting outside seems not to make any difference on whatever or not they have air conditioning somewhere in the premises.

Alcohol however is not (yet) covered by the GST, but it is still covered by the state VAT system - which however in Karnataka has been abolished at restaurant level (as of now). This is a fact many restaurants hasn't figured out how to deal with yet

The service charge is not mandatory, however as many restaurants puts it; if you don't want to pay for service you might not get, please go eat somewhere else.

If you want to know how much the restaurant actually will bill you for the food buffet with alcohol, sitting outside - please contact the restaurant Protected content
