This is the first Ceilidh of the season!
Join us for another fun night of Ceilidh dancing.
The Ceilidh ("kay-lee") is a type of folk traditional Scottish/Irish group dance (line or square dances). that is very lively and easy to learn.
Everyone welcome, no experience or partner required, they teach almost everything to get started with Scottish Ceilidh dancing. The evening starts with a beginner dance lesson, and then be prepared for fun and the live music of Calanais.
The class starts at 7 pm and the dance is from 8 – 11 pm (dance steps are explained throughout the night anyway but for beginners, the lesson is really a plus).
Wear flat, comfy shoes.
Free biscuits and refreshments will be offered during the dance session.
