„A Tale of Two Premium Wine Regions - Rioja Meets Rheingau“

Put on your drinking shoes, it‘s time for the next event in our Wine Walk series!

After a short train ride into the Rheingau, our wine expert Markus Eser will greet us at the station. As we walk past historic sites and through beautiful vineyards, Markus will share six wines with us. Classic examples of Rheingau Riesling, from everyday Gutswein to finest quality Großes Gewächs and Rioja reds from Crianza to the iconic Gran Reserva. Markus will explain the similarities and the differences of these two prestigious wine regions. We’ll have a short rest at Schloß Vollrads, one of the premier winemakers in the region, before continuing our tour to a casual riverside restaurant. From there it’s only a few minutes walk to the closest train or bus connection back to Wiesbaden.
