We will be headed to Leopard Canyon (Wad Al-nimr) which is situated in RAK north.
The hike involves Steep ascents and descents with a bit of scrambling. Lots of loose rocks.
Few ledges which we will use to ascent and access the wadi.
We will pass through Jabel Qiwi which a bit of a challenge!
Quite picturesque and may be some water during the rainy season!
Hike Duration: Depends on our speed 8 to 12 Hours, so be prepared!
Meeting Time: 6 AM Sharp!
Transportation: No transportation is provided but we can do a carpooling and see who would like to offer a ride.
NOTE: Meeting Point is accessible by Sedan car, from there we will drive to the Wadi Entrance which will require 4x4/SUV cars as it's very rocky (Carpooling can be arranged with other attendees)
NOTE2: It's very important to be fit and knowing the basics in Hiking/Bouldering. If you fear heights or you have any medical conditions, please DO NOT COME.
Hike Difficulty: Advance Moderate
Hiker’s Responsibility and other requirements:
Proper hiking boots (NO Running Shoes pls)
3L of water and backpack to carry it in
Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
Take care of yourself!
