Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2020: Opening concert with Adis Sirbubalo

This year, the Jazz Fest Sarajevo will introduce a special edition of the Festival that will enable the audience to watch the concerts of international and local artists from the 19th to the 21st of November, free of charge, via social networks and platforms.
The 24thl opened on 19th November with a Bosnian pianist Adis Sirbubalo’s solo concert recorded in the Sarajevo City Hall, presenting a repertoire of traditional songs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and his own, original compositions.
Sirbubalo was born in Foča, educated in Sarajevo and Chicago, where he graduated from the prestigious Columbia Music College, and his collaborations include musicians such as Eddie Gomez, Christian McBride and Chuchito Valdes. He lives and works in Sarajevo, and as a musician, arranger and composer, he also writes music for film and TV.
