Mt. Tammany Hike - 4 Miles

This time, let's try this 3.6-mile loop trail near Pahaquarry, New Jersey. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 2 min to complete.
Mount Tammany is one of the most popular hikes in New Jersey, and for good reason! The trail offers sweeping views of the Delaware Water Gap. Please consider that there is a section along the Red Dot Trail that requires scrambling up a steep rocky face. There are views the whole way up the Red Dot Trail and after making it to the summit, we will continue westward on the Blue Dot Trail. This trail has a more gradual decline, eventually passing a swimming hole with some small waterfalls.
This will be another exciting and fun hike, so we hope you join us! Please only sign up if you are sure you can make it. If something comes up, please make sure to cancel your attendance — Thank you!
