Ready to Join?

I love cooking and am able to spend a lot of time doing it at the moment. It would be great to share ideas, recipes and techniques from around the World, which Internations members can provide, by meeting up online and cooking together and chatting.

To join on Thursday, just set up a laptop, tablet, or phone with a camera and speaker in your kitchen (or anywhere else if you just want to watch and chat) and click this link (Helsinki time):

Protected content

I am going to kick off with a very simple and quick Canadian take on creme brulee (OK, I am neither Canadian nor French, but do you really want me to demonstrate British cookery?)

What you will need to join in:

to make Protected content (if you are on your own or there are 2 of you, you can use half the ingredients):

500 ml of whipping cream (doesn't seem to matter much which one, I mostly use lactose free from Lidl. Since it come in Protected content boxes, you can also use Protected content then a bit of milk)

125 ml Maple syrup (if you can't find or don't like maple syrup, use another syrup but maybe adjust quantities if it is very strong)

4 eggs (5 if they are quite small or you like extra yokeiness)

I use vanilla and cinnamon for flavouring, but whatever you like.

Brown sugar for the topping but that should be done the next day after the creme brulee have been in the fridge overnight, so I won't be showing you that.

A glass of wine or a beer (not an ingredient, but to add atmosphere)
