Loviisa, an idyllic old port town located a bit over an hour by bus east of Helsinki. The Swedish King Adolf Fredrik was very fond of the town and named it after his wife, Queen Lovisa Ulrika.
Come and visit Loviisa and its Christmas market! The town's specialty are the Traditional Christmas Homes which open their doors for visitors during the first two weekends of December.
