1st part: Tamminiemi tour at 1pm
"Tamminiemi Villa is located in Meilahti adjacent to Seurasaari museum island on a beautiful park estate which used to be President Urho Kekkonen's official residence during his period in office between Protected content 1981. In those days it was known as the centre of Finland's political and governmental life. Tamminiemi is furnished the way it was in Kekkonen's time in the Protected content .
Tamminiemi has been connected to Finnish stately and administrative life for almost half a century and during the 19th century the estate was for a period occupied by the governor general. Since World War II, Tamminiemi has been used by Finland’s heads of state. Tamminiemi was the official residence of President Ryti ( Protected content ), President Mannerheim ( Protected content ) and President Kekkonen ( Protected content ) and a scene for many political negotiations and decisions."
2nd part: Seurasaari tour at 3pm
