The Rhododendron Park .. A Secret Garden ..
The Rhododendron park in Haaga, is settled in a sleepy suburb of Helsinki, easily accessed by train.
This is part of Helsinki University's botanic gardens, with special plants grown and named locally.
Sandy floors and wide, wheelchair accessible, duck boards lead through the parks, north and south side.
Room for easy access to all.
But, However - As these spectacular Rhododendrons and Azaleas, only bloom during early to mid June .. this trip could be brought forward a week IF it's early blooming season.
