Hike to Troppberg - Tullnerbach to Purkersdorf

In anticipation of spring and warmer weather, more suited for biking, let’s have some alternative exercise 🙂.

We will meet at Protected content – inside the main hall of the train station (ground level), in front of the ÖBB Reisezentrum (picture uploaded).

Train REX 51 leaves 9:54h (platform 5).
Individual tickets can be bought on ticket machines, or alternatively also in advance through ÖBB app / site.

Hike will lead us from Tullnerbach over Troppberg to Purkersdorf => it is roughly 15 km, but not a lot of height elevation.

Quite some gastronomy places are closed for winter break, so we will not have a lot of options.
Depending on group size and pace, we’ll still try to find some place to warm up and have a bite, but most likely only towards the end of the hike/day.
Therefor, I’d suggest to take some food and drinks with you, to keep you energized and in a good mood (we are all cranky when we´re hungry 😉) .

Have some cash with you, as credit cards are not accepted in some smaller inns ... and also for the train tickets.

Corona rules => we all know the drill by now ... 2G for gastronomy and mask for the train.
