Wherever you come from, whether you are new or long-term in Rotterdam, the war situation may affect you indirectly, and you may wonder how you can help in practical ways.

The city of Rotterdam, as led by our mayor Mr Ahmed Aboutaled, has organized peace protests in solidarity with Ukraine. Last Saturday (5 March) there was a gathering with the mayor and religious leaders in our city.

This coming Saturday Protected content there will be again a peaceful gathering in each European city, including in our beloved Rotterdam.

So, rain or shine, join us in showing solidarity and be informed how you can help as a Rotterdammer.

I’ll walk from home and ~17:40 will pass the Stadshuis. You are welcome to join me walk from there.
