Salsa & Cumbia Halloween Concert & Party Mexican Style

Let's celebrate El dia de las muertos mexican style at Halloween!
The roots of the group Kumbia Boruka can be found in Monterrey, the heart of Mexican cumbia. Band leader Hernan Cortés grew up there and learned to play from Mexican accordion legend Celso Piña, while he himself was a percussionist in his band. With his own formation, Cortés mixes classic cumbia with reggae, dub, African music and rock, letting electric guitar meet accordion and exciting brass sounds. The Peruvian cumbia, "chicha", is also indulged in. The result is a danceable, irresistible hybrid mix.
