Trail 1: 2.5 hours of walk / 45 minutes of it slightly downhill / low difficulty with gentle slopes / very pleasant
Trail 2: 4 hours of walk / leads to the “Gibrena” peak, at an altitude of Protected content ., through an uphill route of moderate difficulty/ constantly changing landscapes / extremely pleasant

This weekend we will hike at The Dadia Forest National Park located in the center of the “Evros” prefecture along the Northern Turkish~Greece border. It’s geographical position is very important, being at the crossroads of Asia, Europe and Africa and close to the easternmost migration route flyway of many bird species. In the area, Protected content species have been recorded, 25 out of which are orchids. There have also been observed Protected content species, Protected content species, 29 reptile species and Protected content species 24 out of which are bats. Furthermore, the relief such as rocky outcrops, streams and rivers, along with the geological formations and the endemic plants of the area are of great ecological value.

We will have the chance to discover culture, food & night life of the lovely neighbour city, Alexandroupoli.
