Executive Director / Head of Regulatory Analysis of Deutsche Börse Group
After studying business economics in Gießen Torsten worked as consultant and project manager for financial institutions and as a research assistant at the chair of e-Finance and at the E-Finance Lab at the Goethe-University Frankfurt. He wrote his PhD thesis on ‘Managing Post-Trading Infrastructures - Regulatory and IT Challenges‘. Torsten is author of various academic papers, books, and book chapters and lecturer of the master course ‘Current Trends in Securities Trading and Post-Trade Services‘.
Torsten joined Deutsche Börse Group in February Protected content . As Head of Political Analysis he manages regulatory initiatives with relevance for the Deutsche Börse Group as the Review of MiFID, EMIR or the regulation of High Frequency Trading and coordinates them with the regulatory strategy of the group.
