'Volcano Insurance' was performed by the Finn-Brit Players in November Protected content . This 15 minute short play was written by Leben Norrie, performed by Iida Karlstedt and Graham Lees and can be viewed using the following link: Protected content

in March Protected content , a lease was signed by the Players for the former Höyhentämö theatre space whereby the premises could be used for the Players' own needs and rented to others. Since it's always very difficult for amateur theatre groups to find affordable theatre spaces in Helsinki, this was like a dream come true.

Then COVID-19 struck and within days of signing the lease, all plans for the theatre space had to be abandoned. Although normal revenue streams have dried up, the rent must still be paid. The Finn-Brit Players has launched an appeal in order to emerge from this catastrophe with sufficient funds to continue operations and possibly renew the lease for their own and other theatre groups' benefit. Plans are also being made to bring live theatre and other events back using ZOOM and other means.
