"Minari" Film Discussion: The Expat/ Immigrant Experience

Dear Globally Minded friends!
Winner of the Protected content Grand Jury Prize & US Dramatic Audience Award, 'Minari' will be released on Feb. 12th. It is a touching story of a Korean-American family's travails as they begin a life in rural Arkansas.
The film features the fantastic Steven Yeun, Yeri Han, Youn Yuh-Jung, Alan Kim, and Noel Kate Cho, directed by Lee Issac Chung.
Please watch the film on one of the platforms that it will be released on (including the above link) and come join us in a discussion about the film, and the way our stories may align or diverge from that portrayed in the film. We all have stories to tell, from the ways that we try to integrate into various groups or societies. Let's speak our truths about otherness, embracing differences, and finding our communities in our global society!
Join us on Saturday, Feb. 20th at 5 pm (EST) for our discussion. We'll practice some deep listening as we share with each other and make some new friends (as well as strengthen old bonds!)
Hope to see you online,
Susie
