Hello art and culture enthusiasts!

I'm pleased to announce a small, socially distanced museum outing at the Protected content

Julie Mehretu, (b. Protected content , Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) lives and works in New York City. She received a B.A. from Kalamazoo College, Michigan, studied at the University Cheik Anta Diop, Dakar Senegal, and received a Master’s of Fine Art with honors from The Rhode Island School of Design in Protected content .

She has received many prestigious awards. Her work has been exhibited extensively in museums and biennials including the Carnegie International Protected content , Sydney Biennial Protected content , Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York Protected content , dOCUMENTA ( Protected content ), Sharjah Biennial Protected content , Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves, Porto, Portugal Protected content , Kettle's Yard, University of Cambridge, UK Protected content and the 58th International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia, Protected content .

In addition, the Making Knowing: Craft in Art show will still be up. Also a great show to see at the Whitney.
