The Guardian of Future Generations is organizing a conference titled "Malta’s Urban Environment. Is it Sustainable?"

The Conference will be held on Friday 16th November Protected content the Protected content

This Conference shall discuss several issues related to our urban environment which is experiencing rapid changes. Relevant stakeholders and participants will have the opportunity to discuss these issues and also can come up with recommendations on making our urban environment more sustainable.

The conference is offering two workshops. The workshops are a discussion between attendees moderated by a selected person to bring out suggestions … for one workshop it is an architect for the other workshop it is an urban engineer.
There will be a rapporteur, whose role is to report to the plenary the general comments and suggestions coming out of the workshop. The Guardians for Future Generations will use what comes out of the workshops to direct its future actions and activities.

Networking lunch will be light food e.g. sandwiches, pastries served outside the meeting hall on a table for people to collect on a plate and to nibble while networking/discussing proceedings with others. It is free of charge.
