Anyone up for having a walk in the towns of Sacile and Pordenone, while witnessing some of the 70 piano concerts that will be held this weekend, as part of the PianoCity event?
In the morning, while it's not so hot yet, I would try having a walk in Sacile: you may know the town for being home to Fazioli piano, it actually also boasts a nice historical center, built over two islands.
If we can return to Pordenone by midday, we might be just in time for the 12 key strokes that mark the beginning of Saint-Saëns's Danse Macabre for 4 hands at the town hall portico.
As for the afternoon in Pordenone, there will be plenty of concerts to choose from.
The students of Bologna Conservatory performing all of Chopin's waltzes at the town hall portico at 4:00pm, Alexandra Pavlova playing Mussorgsky , “Pictures at an Exhibitions" at Palazzo Loredan Porcia at 5:00pm are just two of many highlights.
The full festival program can be viewed on:

Venezia Mestre 10: Protected content Pordenone if you wish to sleep more and head directly to Pianocity in Pordenone
PS: if you're travelling by train there's a nice deal, that allows you to travel for 3 days in a row for 29 euro. Or for 4 long weekends in a row for the price of 39 euro.
