Back to the Autumn
I will be back to Manchester this weekend to organise this walk and go back one year after to Alderley Edge.
We were impressed last year with the magic colours of autumn.
Alderley Edge Forest is a National Trust Site in the Cheshire Countryside at only 30 minutes away from Manchester.
Set around a sandstone escarpment -is classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI)- in rolling Cheshire farmland and mature Scots pines and beech woodlands, the Edge has spectacular views, intriguing legends and an ancient mining history.
Route: Protected content -Alderley Forest- Old Mine-The Wizard-Bradford Lane-Alderley Edge Station. In the way back we stop for drinks as usual.

Food and drink: Packed lunch and 1-litre drink approx.
Please ensure you are appropriately equipped for walking.
