Chew Valley & Dove Stone. Hard
I have the pleasure to say that the Manchester walking group turns three years this July!
It is summer the long daylight and the apparently good weather invite go for a moderate-intense hike.
We will start in Greenfield Station and we head to the outstanding Dove Stone Reservoir through beautiful woodland.
From there we climb up to Chew Reservoir where the path follows the edge of the emerging cliff-line.
The track has magnificent views and finally, the descent back to Dove Stone Reservoir is moderately challenging.

Walk rate: Strenuous
Terrain: Peat-covered uneven paths, muddy.
Food and drink: Packed lunch and 1-litre drink approx.
Please ensure you are appropriately equipped for walking.
Essential to bring windproof clothing, Appropriate walking footwear it is a must.
