International Coastal Cleanup Day in Subic (2 days event)
WE GO PARTICIPATE IN THE ICC
The International Coastal Cleanup Day is celebrated every 3rd Saturday of the month. It was initiated by Ocean Conservancy, a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C., in Protected content . Its participated by more than 90 countries. The Philippines was the #1 country with the most number of volunteers in Protected content . In Protected content . the ICC was cancelled due to terrorist threat.
ICC Zambales holds the title with the most number of volunteers in the Philippines with almost 90,000 volunteers back in Protected content . It is composed of Subic Bay Freeport, Olongapo City, and Zambales Province.
Some of us might want to form car sharing groups, others might want to go with the bus. We go on Friday night to Zambales and sleep there in order to start freshly on Saturday morning at 6 am with the other volunteers.
Hotels have to be payed by yourself, we can point you to different categories (from simple hostel to 5 star hotel).
