Cafe Philo for the "Curious Souls"
Dear Bodrum Culture Group members,
If you would like to have a relaxed afternoon in a beautiful venue with friends, while at the same time, enjoy a mind-expanding and fun discussion, then I invite you to join me for a "Curious Souls Cafe-Philo" meeting.
I am the consul of Personal Development group in Istanbul and I organise "Curious Souls Get Together" meetings with various different concepts. I will be in Bodrum for a few days and I thought it would be a great idea to get together with Curious Souls in Bodrum too :-))
The venue we will meet is a beautiful library and cafe. We will be there as customers and there will be no special arrangement for us.So our discussions should be much like conversations among friends. We will also come up with the most appealing discussion topic together. (No politics by the way!)
At that meeting we discussed: "What experience, what learning or which failure in your life, was the most transformative for you, that made you the person you are?“ The outcome was absolutely fantastic! We realized that we had many jewels among us that day!
Just a note for those who are not familiar: The concept of "Café Philo" was first founded by philosopher Marc Sautet in Paris in Protected content brought people together in public friendly forums where they discussed subjects that ranged from the Santa Claus myth to truth, to beauty, to sex and to death. Meetings were exciting and fun; and they posed questions like "What is a fact?" and "Is hope a violent thing?" Discussions were held in a spirit of tolerance and openness. Since then "Cafe Philo"s sprouted everywhere in the world.
So I hope to see several of you at the venue and until then I wish you wonderful days!
With my kindest regards
Isil the Curious Souls :-)
