Dream under Capitalism
Dreaming under capitalism / Rêver sous le capitalisme (movie in French)
A documentary film by Sophie Bruneau Protected content , Belgium, 63 ')
We know what the work does to the body, but what does it print, in a less visible way, on the unconscious?
Twelve people tell how neo-management writes the nightmare dreams of their nights and then interpret the memory of a working dream. These misused souls describe, in a poetic and political way, their subjective suffering at work. Progressively, the dreamers and their dreams portray a world dominated by neoliberal capitalism.
The film received the prize of libraries during the Protected content of Cinéma du réel, a major event for international documentary cinema, organized by the Public Information Library at the Center Pompidou in Paris.
This projection at the media library of Vaise is proposed as part of the program outside the walls of the festival.
The projection starts at 3pm, let's meet Protected content
