Nakuru Colour Run + Lake Nakuru National Park
The Kenya Colour Run is today’s Kenya’s most creative and fun 5km run! This unique run involves participants of all abilities and ages being doused from head to toe with corn-starch colour powder while they jog or walk a 5km route on a marked course. The main purpose of this fun run is to raise money to sponsor secondary education of disadvantaged but bright students. The run seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle by making physical activity fun.
Kenya Colour Run was introduced in Protected content as a fundraising effort for Sports for Change (SFC) Protected content a local charity whose primary cause is to support disadvantaged but academically gifted youths by meeting their education fees and costs through high school, tertiary and university education
After colour run fun, consider a visit to Lake Nakuru National Park.
This is a beautiful wildlife haven on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges and wildlife.
