Participate in a Children Fun-Day at the Majengo Slums

For kids at the Malezi Community School.

Dear members,

Please refer to the previous Christmas food drive here: Protected content .
This fun day was initially happening over Christmas but most kids were away. It has now been confirmed & you're welcome to participate!

The school usually holds an annual kids Fun-Day where kids play with bouncing castles, trampolines, horses, camels, face painting, etc. These are not regularly available for them. The estimated cost for the Protected content is KES40,000.

With some cash donations left from the past food drive, I am thinking of still buying food for them.

There is also a plan to take the top10 kids for a movie at the cinema with pizza as a motivation for the rest :)

Due to the COVID situation, we will be very careful in interaction with the kids. However, our presence & support help!

How to Participate:
1. You can join other volunteers at the Arboretum to go to the school
2. You can courier items/books/toys for donation, contact me for details
3. You can send a cash donation ( Protected content ), to buy food/cover for games/cinema tickets for the top10.

This is a collaboration with Malezi Technical Education Program (MTEP), a small volunteer-led org where I volunteer. Some of the MTEP volunteers will be present.
