Kids Day Out of Kibera Slums II

Dear Changemakers,

Last year we participated in the first Kids Day Out of Kibera Slums, whereby Rosemary offered her out-of-town children's park for the 62 kids from the School of Hope in Kibera slums, to enjoy. Protected content
In Protected content , we participated in a Kids Fun-Day in Majengo Slums, where we provided some games and food for Protected content from Malezi Community Centre in Majengo slums. Protected content

This year, we plan to host the kids from the School of Hope, at the Arboretum.
Some of these kids rarely leave the slum, nor have enough clean playground. We hope to put a smile on their faces, and welcome you to participate!

Kids will play with balls, ropes, face painting, walks in the park, pizza for lunch and ice cream; that the kids can enjoy before heading back to school. These are not regularly available for them.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
1. You can volunteer to guide the kids or facilitate games at the venue
2. You can donate games/books/toys to the school
3. You can make a cash donation to cover the activities and logistics
Any balances left will be used to buy toys for the school

COSTS & INCLUDED
The estimated cost is Ksh.60,000:
-Entrance for the kids and 3 teachers
-Logistics
-Lunch & water for all: pizza, fries and juice
-4pm ice cream
-Two footballs and toys
-Volunteers will cover their entrance fees (Ksh.65).
